Ensuring all pets get the care they need.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to keeping more pets in loving homes and out of shelters by providing access to affordable pet care and education in Clayton County and beyond!
15% of Clayton County residents (65,698 people) live below the poverty line.
The average adult in Clayton County earns less than 30k per year.
We have several food pantries, but sadly, no pet resources are dedicated to ensuring pet-loving families experiencing financial hardship can get the care they need.
Atlanta Dog Mom is hoping to change that! In 2024, we helped over 30 families and 40 pets access the care they need through our Community Pet Care day. Let's do even more together in 2025!
We also provide a unique pet pantry model to empower pet parents to afford pet care items that match their pet's needs and have consistent access to inventory (including affordable prescription foods and medications), special diets, and delivery.
Clayton County pet owners can pay what they can for preventative care and pet pantry items at Community Pet Care day. Please consider supporting our mission through volunteering your time or making a monetary or pantry donation.
